This course provides students with a solid foundation in arithmetic, geometry, measurement, and related topics required for success in Beginning Algebra. Specific topics include arithmetic operations on integers and rational numbers; variables, expressions, and equations; area, volume, and the Pythagorean Theorem; ratio, proportion, and percent; measurement and graphing; and solving application problems.

Prerequisite

Honors Pre Algebra 6 / Beast Academy 5 / students who have completed any Grade 6 program (including Singapore Primary Mathematics 6), with solid understanding.
